Morning all and thanks for popping in to view my blog

And welcome to my new followers  Meg  and Evalila very pleased to welcome you
to my rambles on my crafting path.

I must try to remember to put a link to my new followers and hopefully you will
pop over to see them too.

Now back to my card for today.

I do not have a step by step on this card - silly me I forgot but

this is how I made it.....

Used a card blank and mounted mat shinny mint green mirri card on first.

Used a Hunkydory topper which shimmers and shines in butterfly mint green
colours.

Added a margin of mint butterflies to the top and added pearl drops
for the middle part of the butterflies.

I would like to enter it for the following

Challenges

Thank you for popping in and here is a photo I took this morning
just before breakfast.

Looking across the valley from our window.

Brrrr it was a rather cold morning with frost on the ground - the poor lambs in the field
were lifting their feet, and saying I am sure "ouch this hurts my feet"

But the sun is now shinning and all  is bright and beautiful

Look forward to seeing you again

Thanks for popping in

WOYWW - 356

Morning All and I can not believe its Wednesday already.

I missed last week - sorry but here I am today.

Here is my worktop this morning .... you will see in the foreground my newest item

I was very pleased to  receive my winning prize all the way from USA.

I did a blog hop the other day at Ken's World in Progress

and won I was over the moon I have to say.

My stamps arrived and the Metal Color Burst arrived yesterday. Will have to have a play
later today with these.

I also have been working on another card for the Butterfly Challenge
and will post this card later today all being well.

Also playing yesterday with the Color Burst paints on papers using the
Little Claire stamp on the papers and embossed raindrop paper.

Now today I must get round to finishing some cards with all these bibs and bobs.

But first I need to put the washing on, will get it done by Solar power as the sun is
shinning. So useful the Solar panels we have on Den's Man Cave. Over Easter
cooked the roast by Solar :)

Here is a photo yesterday late afternoon, we had sunshine, hail, rain and a
rainbow all in a matter of minutes.

Feeling more positive today and slept like a log - not surprised as yesterday I was
awake at 2am and did not sleep until 10pm last night.
Hate it when my head goes round and round but that was yesterday
and today is another day.

Well best get going

Thanks for popping by and look forward to hearing from you
Your comments are much appreciated.

Funny old day

Afternoon all

Been a bit of a funny old day so far today.

Not felt right - rather sad and low.... why why why

I am not sure if its cos it would have been my Dads birthday today
or the worry about Mum who is now alone without a carer (her choice)

Here are some photos of today

One of Dad taken when my children where small. It was taken at Sissinghurst National Trust
over 35 years ago....happy times.

Where does the time go???

Had to go out this morning to pick the daffodils which were all on the ground today
Bucket load.

Now in a vase - or two....

There that makes things seem brighter

Well I must not dwell on the day - best get on with
making something ... find it is always a good way to get focused
on the positive.

I did some sorting out the other day and came across a ATC

with the words of

IF by Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
    If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
    And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
    And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
    If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Think it sums up my thoughts today.

Well something different today thinking of you all
my Dear Friends and thank you for being you and
I really appreciate you comments, every single one. :)

It is all green this Easter

A good Easter Friday Morning
to you all.

A a warm welcome to Rachel via Networked blog my latest follower.
and a warm welcome to all my followers too...:) x

I was thinking about the word Green yesterday

So here is the card I made...

I made this card yesterday playing with my
Hobby Art Vintage Flower stamp
on some of my back ground papers made the other day.

I painted with watercolour paints all green and added
glitter pen to the top to bring out the colours.

Added it to green back ground papers and
added "those dashes" around the edge.
Got a name for this technique but cant remember what it is.

Made a dotty ribbon and made a "rose" from the ribbon stash
I got from Crafty Ribbons.

Added those to the card. You will notice that I coloured the card
blank with green to bring all the items together to
make it all green !!!!

I hope you like it

and would like to enter it for the following

Thank you for popping in

And here are some Easter Lambs for you. They are in the field next to us
and I could not get a photo of them leaping but it did make me smile
to see them this morning.

The sun is shinning today. Think I will be baking a cake for Easter
today.

Have a lovely time what ever you may be doing
and hope to see you all again very soon.

G is for Grass ...green green grass of home

Morning All and thank you for popping in

The weather has changed here today - cold and wet but the
garden needs some rain....

Had to make a dash to the shops and bank this morning so a bit later
putting this on ...

Here is my card for today -

I am continuing to use the Tag Theme for The Craft Barn challenge

I first decided to use up some of my card stock from the other day.

Made a tag and stamped with Clarity Stamp Grass Stamps using black
archival inks

Used paints watercolour and cosmic shimmer paints to make
the tag.

See the grasses have a shimmer on them.
Added brush strokes of grasses to give a better feel for all the
grasses.

Added a green ribbon and definition

Enjoyed making this tag - I got in the zone and was able to
chill out. Think I need to go now and start some painting
absorb myself in my art work.... got so much going on in my head today
from yesterday... hay ho

Hope you like it

Follow your Dreams Ladies

A good morning to you all and
thank you for popping in.

 here is my card today.

I had a brain wave yesterday and thought of this card ....

First I found a sheet of watercolour paper which I had been playing
with the other day.  Which Stencil shall I use? mmmmm

Ended up using
the Clarity Stencil Circles and used various distress inks to
colour in the circles.

Cut down the paper and save the un-used bit for another project.

Next try the stamps on the card before I stamp !!!
 to see how I think
best way to use the stamps .... ..... which way ?

This

or this

Yes has to be this way.... use Black Archival permanent ink to

Add a yellow edge with watercolour paint around the picture
and mount onto black card
Final step mount onto cream colour card blank made from a sheet
of A4 card.
