I have missed having my hand in but there is tomorrow
and sometimes one has to do what one has to do in life.

Acceptance is the key.....

So here are the photos

Then on the way home took this photo of a new wind farm. Took it from the car window.

Just love to see them

Off now for a cuppa

Red Kitty Love

Morning All

Hope you will have a great Weekend....

Just a very quick blog today, things to do places to be :)

Here is my card for today....

I have made this card with the IndigoBlu Challenge in mind
having just received these new very cute stamps of Cats.

Using a piece of paper from IndigoBlu stamping with
Archival geranium ink the two cats.

I then inked around the paper with red !!

Added red grass so that the cats are sitting in grass.

I thought I would keep the idea of red going and mount onto
different colour "red" cards but used black card next to the topper so that the red
stood out.

Mounted a red ribbon onto a blank card blank and added the topper.

I then remembered I had some cat ribbon from Crafty ribbons and
mounted that onto the red ribbon. :) Great.

Final step, add 3 red sequins and red hearts and painted the cats with
sparkle pen. Not sure you can see it but its there honest :)

I think this card has several uses, birthday, Love, and for that
special "cat" Lady....

so

I would like to enter it for the following

Mad March Hares

Morning All

Well here we are its Friday again. Nearly the weekend :)

Thought I would share with you my latest card today.

I have just had delivery of this fantastic stamp collection

I first painted a bit of Kraft card with Gesso and waited for it to dry.

Then stamped the toadstool in black Arkival ink, then with the help of masks coloured the background with dark blue inks with the moon mask in place. Then with a toadstool mask and the "out side bit" of the moon coloured the moon.

I worked on the moon with distress inks.

Then added the leaping hare across the moon, added one into the foreground
among the leaves.

Maybe you can see hills on the card too?

Painted in the toadstools with watercolour paints :)

The toadstool I added white acrylic paint to the dots to highlight the spots

I then cut down the picture mounted onto white card, and then onto a coloured
card blank which I had given a dash of blue.

Added a dark blue ribbon from my Crafty Ribbons stash.

I hope you like it.

Wedding hearts with love

Was going to say morning but now see its the Afternoon where has that time gone
so Afternoon All,

Hope I find you all good and ready for the day ahead....
sunshine and showers today and rather cold (for me).

Been a busy day yesterday making cards really quite
productive

Here is my card for today which I made again from
bibs and bobs out of my stash.

I found a die cut silver scrap of card which I had made several months ago using
Crafters Companion Edge'ables die - can you see all the little hearts?

I could not think what to do with it so in it went into my stash for a later date.

Bingo today I made it into a wedding card.

Cut it out and cut it in half, mounted it onto a Kanban card blank,
little flowers for the back ground.

Used red tape, to stick down a folded piece of lace. I was given
loads of lace many months ago and thought this was too wide.
But with a bit of thought - just right.

Made 2 white bows and added 2 white'ish butterflies.

Glitter and a sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

Just right for Love and Marriage

Thank you for popping in and look forward to
hearing from you again.

But before I go I would like to mention my cousin Sally Bruce who invented the

CoolerRuler

Click on the link above to find out more - Sally  designed this ruler to help
those with Dyslexia.

If only I had the help that is out there when I was at school, things
would have been so much better for me.

But it is something that I now come to terms with and have good days and
bad but I do not let Dyslexia get in the way of my life
although it did when I was at School (all those years ago)

And see you all again soon

Butterflies gallor

A good morning to you all this Monday morning.

How are you all today?

I had a bit of a sort out yesterday - checking on my boxes  and boxes of "stuff"
and found something a friend gave me - she was throwing it out and thought of me !!!

What is it .... Handmade tissue paper...mmmm what can I make with this so that
I do not end up throwing it out myself. :)

So here is my card for today made with something that was going to be
thrown out and all made with bibs and bobs, snippets from the "stash"

I noticed that a small piece was torn and had a rather nice edge.... this got my
mind working on how would the tissue paper seem if all edges were torn.

I inked with Card-io butterfly stamps and "sapphire" blue ink
onto strips of cream tissue paper.

Mounted onto the dark "sapphire" blue tissue paper using red tape.

Mounted a blue ribbon again from my stash -  onto a card blank - coloured to match the
theme of the colour.

Used Novo drops in the corners and glitter on the dark blue paper
final step (of course) is to add a double butterfly.

Hope you like it

Frogging around with butterflies

Morning All
here we are again on Sunday where does the time go?
Need to make cakes today and think I will do a roast for tea.

How about you.

I have to say that the weather makes me feel quite down and miserable
not able to get out into the garden, which is another passion for me.

But glad to say I am eating the fruit I grew last year so a little
bit of summer is coming my way.

Here is my card for today - made with the idea of an animal that Leaps :)

My Mum loves frogs so thing this is one for her.

I have used a new Frog stamp which I inked onto one of my
shaving foam backgrounds.

I did mount the original stamp onto foam to make it easier to use.

Used watercolours and pencils to colour in .....

Added sparkle pen to the table, tea pot and fly.

Mounted onto to green card and coloured in a blank card
to keep to the same colour palette.

Final step to add gems in the corners, ribbon words from Crafty Ribbons and the
green bows were made from the stash from Crafty Ribbons too.

Added  three shinny almost sapphire sparkle butterflies from Hunkydory and added glitter to them just to
add that extra sparkle.

Hope you can see the glitter and sparkle in this photo. ;)
