Butterflies Birthday

Morning all

Thank you for popping in today

I hope you are well and enjoying your day.

I have followed the colour swatch to make my card for today and also the
layout for the other challenge.

Here is my card for today

I have stamped with AlteNew stamps the butterflies onto
white card stock

Then I flicked a mixture of colour across the page to give the texture of
the patterns on the background

I then mounted onto card stock onto a cream coloured card blank.

I would like to enter it for the following

I hope it meets with the criteria

Have a great day and I look forward to seeing you again

Walking in the Air

Morning all

First I would like to say Happy Birthday to my Son Adam who is
41 years old today.

It seems only like yesterday that he was born in a little Maternity Cottage Hospital
in Bexleyheath. Back then we had to stay in hospital for 14 days
not like that now, is it?

How time goes ..... I really do not know.

Now here is my card for today

a card for a man it is not the one I sent Adam as unfortunately he
suffers from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy so has problems walking
any distances.

Do look up the symptoms for this as WE did not know anything about it and
it is hereditary. (comes done his fathers line)

Now best get back to the card

I have used a snippet of  Hunkydory card stock which had footprints on and used up snippets of
topper walker and added a few bits of decoupage on top of the walker.

Placed the topper at an angle so that the footprints can be seen.

Mounted onto a white card blank which I gave a light dusting of tea dye ink to
added a sentiment.

It is a quick and simple card but so good to use up my snippets

I would like to enter it for the following

So good new I am pleased to say I am a winner over at

Allsorts Challenge  blog for last week with one of my cards

click here to see the card  and you wont believe it but it is the card I have
sent to Adam for today :)

Thank you for popping in today and look forward
to hearing from you again very soon.

Have a great day

Floral cat

Well hello and welcome today
thank you for popping in.

How is it for you today? How is the weather?

It has gone very cold here with just a bit of snow in the air. Hope we do not get too
much as I need to go into town tomorrow, and as some of you know it is a 14 mile
round trip.

Anyway back to today and my card.

I have used Little Claire wee topper and trimmed the edges, mounted onto
as snippet of blue card.

Mounted onto a snippet of paper again from Little Claire. This sheet has been

knocking around for sometime so glad to be using it.

Added a few extra die cut flowers with nuvo drops to the card
having mounted onto a Craftwork Cards card blank.

Then added a few paw prints :)

I hope you like it and would like to enter it for the following

Thank you for your visit and hope to see you again.

The odd one out

Hiya - bit earlier today

The sun is shinning, washing is on, and hopefully will peg out shortly.

I have been working on a new craft over the last few days.

Although I have gained many items for this craft I am guilty of having the "stuff" and
hardly using it.

So to stretch myself I am joining in on the Facebook Clarity Groovi  Worldwide Challenge

This month it is the Animal Kingdom

So here is my entry.

The Odd One Out .... can you see the different one?

I have used the fish plate onto plain parchment.

Over the last few days I have done the white work on the fins and then
coloured in first with pens and then found my soft Dorso colours.

Then I coloured in the parchment with blue and green blending in places

Finally tore around the edges and mounted onto blue card.

I was going to use my Yupo blue papers but that did not bring out the fishes
so well. Use that for another time.

I have to say that while I was doing the parchment work, I was in the zone
so to speak. Lovely.

It shows me that I really must try to do more.

Interesting quote today

"Hope sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and archives the impossible"

Helen Keller

Also saw this quote today too

Have a great day and hope to see you again
